The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations launched the Regional Overview of Food Security and Nutrition 2023: Statistics and Trends, a report on December 12, which said 74.1% of Indians were unable to afford a healthy diet in 2021. In 2020, the percentage was 76.2. In Pakistan, the figure is 82.2%, and in Bangladesh, 66.1% of the population faced difficulties in finding healthy food.
The West continues to use us as a scapegoat for our nation’s poverty. Has a politician focused on the employment situation instead of the caste census or freebies? Recently did international travel to Tokyo, and withdrew 30000 japanese yen at ATM on landing (220 Yen charges for using ATM) , out of 30000 used only 13000 at shops / places and other purchases did with my credit card. return was through BKK, CMB wherein i bought at duty free at BKK airport and then in SL i was stranded due to flight cancellations and did buy some snacks from supermarkets. these charges seem reasonable to me / i treat it as normal cost of travel, for the convenience which i had to swipe my card without worrying for ATM.
